Why you always miss the real pump on new token launches

I’ve noticed that every time a new token launches on Solana or Base, it’s almost impossible to get in early. I open BirdEye, refresh constantly, monitor wallets doing deploys… and I still end up late. By the time I react, the token has already pumped 2-3x, and I’m left watching others take profit while I sit on the sidelines.

It happened to me recently with a project that seemed legit. I spotted the pairing almost instantly, but by the time I ran my numbers, the pump was already over. The people who get in first seem to have some kind of system or tool doing the work for them.

I’ll admit, out of curiosity, I started testing a bot myself (BananaGun). I used it on a completely separate wallet and honestly, it did the job pretty well. I won’t go into too much detail about it since I’m still learning how it works, but the most important part is – it works. Still, on top of that, I always make sure to check the contract, the volume, and whether there are signs that the project is serious, even if I have to act fast.
