Tired of meme coins, looking for actual tech in small projects

So I’ve been watching the whole AI + crypto trend blow up over the last year, and honestly I don’t know what to make of it. It feels like every other new altcoin is slapping AI in their name or whitepaper, but when you dig into it, there’s almost no real technology backing the claims. It’s like the old days of projects adding “blockchain” to anything just to get hype, except now the buzzword is AI.

I’m not against the idea in theory, in fact, I think combining AI with decentralized systems could actually solve some really interesting problems, especially in areas like trading bots, fraud detection, or maybe even decentralized AI marketplaces. But right now, most of what I see looks like smoke and mirrors.

Has anyone come across a project that’s actually delivering something useful and not just a fancy landing page? I’d be down for an alt that’s leveraging AI in a real, practical way, but at this point I’m starting to wonder if any of these coins even have a shot at real adoption. Or is the whole AI altcoin wave just another short-lived trend?
