When I first started looking into engagement platforms, I thought the real breakthrough would be in how campaigns were designed. On the surface, it seems simple enough, set tasks like following accounts, sharing content, or visiting websites, and people will engage.

What I didn’t expect was that the real barrier wasn’t task design but accessibility. For many people, dealing with blockchain, gas fees, and wallets creates more friction than engagement. That is where BOOST stood out to me.

It’s built on Ethereum but integrated with Abstract, an L2 scaling solution, so interactions can happen in a way that feels almost invisible to the user. Campaigns run through web based or custodial wallets, so people don’t need prior crypto knowledge to take part. That design choice makes a big difference because it opens the door to a much wider audience.

BOOST also builds on the technical groundwork of Alphabot, extending those capabilities into the broader Web2 creator economy. It addresses issues like how communities grow, how users engage, and how incentives are structured, areas where traditional platforms often fall short.

I have seen glimpses of this approach through events like Bitget CandyBomb, which reward users for participation in a more tangible way. With BOOST now being introduced into that kind of environment, it feels like the model of engagement is gradually shifting toward something more seamless and rewarding for both sides.
