The journey of building a meme coin with real-world utility

When we started working on GPEPAY, the idea wasn’t just “another Solana meme coin.” We wanted to build something that could actually be used as a payment method – especially for niche shops like headshops, small e-commerce stores, and communities that value alternative currencies.

Right now, the project is still in its early phase. We’ve built the foundation, launched the token, and even started testing a payment integration that allows shops to accept GPEPAY via QR codes. The first test partners are lined up, and over the next weeks, the focus is on refining the tech and growing the community.

The vision? To combine the energy of meme culture with real adoption – a coin people can laugh about, but also use in day-to-day life.
