Sometimes memecoins defy expectations, and the usual patterns

We all know the typical story, a memecoin launches, pumps hard, then fades into obscurity. Most traders avoid them for good reason, lack of fundamentals, too much noise, and extreme volatility.

But every so often, one breaks the pattern.

I watched $RUDI launch recently on Bitget onchain and it did 1047% right out of the gate. What stood out wasn’t just the spike, it’s the fact that it didn’t completely collapse afterward like most. It actually held some traction, at least in the short term.

It got me thinking, while the majority of memecoins are still just speculative plays, a small number do end up surprising traders with short term performance and some staying power.

Anyone here approach memecoins with a defined strategy, or is it always a hard pass?Don’t forget to treat memecoins like what they are, high risk, short term plays. And always have an entry and exit plan before jumping in. Don’t chase green candles, and never risk more than you’re willing to lose.
