Portal To Bitcoin ($PTB) another BitcoinFi gem?

I’ve been watching the BitcoinFi (BTCFi) narrative closely, and it feels like things are heating up again. One project that just caught my radar is Portal To Bitcoin ($PTB), which was recently listed on Bitget.

Here’s why this is interesting:

1. BitcoinFi sector play – $PTB is aiming to expand Bitcoin-native DeFi, similar to how Bitlayer (BTR) was pushing scalability. Bitget is clearly leaning into BTCFi, and this listing fits the direction. They even have their own wrapped BTC product ($BGBTC), so the synergy makes sense.
2. Strong listing performance – Bitget has had a track record with listings lately. Just last month, 15 tokens pumped significantly post-listing, with Camp Network ($CAMP) rallying over 428% in August alone. Not many platforms are consistently giving that kind of upside.
3. Launchpool passive income – $PTB isn’t just a spot listing. It’s also live on Bitget Launchpool, which means you can earn tokens passively by staking $BGB. They’re putting up a 22,400,000 PTB prize pool, which is huge compared to most staking opportunities I’ve seen. I’ve personally earned steady rewards from Bitget’s past Launchpools, and this one looks even better.

With September usually being a bearish month for majors like $BTC and ETH, I think opportunities like this (listings + Launchpool yields) are where real gains can be found.

Curious to see how the market reacts to $PTB in the next couple of weeks, especially since both Bitget and other CEXs (like MEXC) are already on it.
