The title says it all bro. I’ve been in the trenches since the end of 2024 and became profitable around mid-May. The way I did so was by finding conviction plays early and holding. This strategy works, and if done right, you can sorta treat the trenches as a “shitcoin stock market” by finding good entry on tried and true, super liquid, highcap tokens (think Troll, Popcat and most recently, USDUC) and holding to ATH’s and beyond. But the other day, I started trading new pairs. While it does come with more risk, if you know what you’re doing and have 0.5-1 Sol to bid new pairs with, it is extremely profitable. From what I can tell, new pairs is how a lot of traders in the trenches really step their game up, because new pairs is a gateway to major alpha plays/elon tweets that hit 2m-5m market cap in seconds. I don’t use any filters whatsoever when scanning, and I rarely even look at the lore behind the tokens I bid. I mainly trade volume and scalp for 50%-100% gains. There have been a lot of plays I could have let run even longer as well, but I’m very risk adverse when it comes to spending large amounts on memecoins, so I just acknowledge that 100% gains in 5 seconds in unbelievable in any other space, and take my profits. Besides, like I mentioned before, this isn’t even my go to trading strategy. I spend an hour or 2 before I hop off everyday scanning new pairs, just to make an extra $200-$300 on the day. I use 0.025 fees for my buy and sell settings when trading new pairs, which gets me into high volume new pairs the second I click the buy button. Anyways, I use Axiom Pro for all this.
