Litecoin has half of the active addresses that Ethereum and Bitcoin have. Still LTC is only ranked a #20 cryptocurrency by market cap. How is that possible? I believe one of the main reasons is that Litecoin has no ecosystem & no web3, it’s only offering cheaper and quicker transactions than Bitcoin. Soon a Layer 2 is launching on the Litecoin mainnet which will finally enable web3, programmability, EVM compatibility etc. With rate cuts upcoming I see a huge Litecoin memecoin season on the horizon.
