Jupiter trigger order will work all the time?

Trying to use the jupiter trigger order for putting sell orders on my purchases. My doubt is will it work all the time as it’s basically a limit order we are putting with a fixed target to sell. What if price doesn’t touch that exact point , will it still work like a trigger market order?
