I launched a token on LaunchOnBags and tried out the creator royalties utility- my take on it.

Wanted to share my experience launching a memecoin last week using LaunchOnBags (a new launchpad in the Solana ecosystem). I’m not affiliated with the platform, just documenting my experience here in case it helps others considering different launch methods.

TL;DR:

• LaunchOnBags gives real-time creator rewards from volume (like Raydium’s Boop/Bonk rewards, but direct to deployer).
• Boop.fun rewards are delayed + split among many tokens.
• I earned over 25 SOL in creator rewards on day one using LaunchOnBags and used it for buybacks/burn/marketing. I launched a token with a thematic narrative (ASCII style + eco-friendly twist), and was surprised by how effective LaunchOnBags’ reward system was. Instead of bonding or locking tokens, I just deployed, and trading volume instantly funneled fees to the connected deployer wallet (linked to X). No complex setup.
• First 24H: ~$200K trading volume → 25 SOL in deployer wallet
• I used the funds to do strategic buybacks and burns, helping floor price + distribution
• When volume continued, even BagsApp’s CEO aped in, driving another 15 SOL to me (10 I kept, 5 reused for buybacks)

I also compared this to Boop.fun, where rewards are delayed and diluted. I bonded 2% of supply of another project—expected $300 rewards, got $40 after a week. Not terrible, but not efficient.

-> Getting deployer rewards instantly (and based on actual volume) gave me immediate liquidity to build and support the token. That’s a cold-start problem solved.
