I launched a meme coin about drainage and erosion that might turn into a terrain data network

I run a small business in real life dealing with land, drainage, erosion, soil, and stormwater. My day job is fixing yards, slopes, and runoff problems, and lately we’ve been building some AI tools around that data.

As a side experiment, we launched a Solana meme coin called Terrain Token (TRN). Right now it’s exactly that: a meme coin. No promises, no investment pitch, no “to the moon” stuff. Just something fun that came out of the fact that we literally work with terrain all day.

The longer-term idea is where it gets a little weird in a good way. We’re mapping out a path where TRN stays a closed-loop token inside an actual terrain-data ecosystem:

Phase 0 is what we’re in now: pure meme and community. Later phases are things like rewarding people with TRN for submitting yard, erosion, or stormwater photos, and then letting TRN be used to unlock AI terrain reports and tools we’re already building for contractors and homeowners. Down the road we want to use those submissions to train “Terrain Vision” models and eventually build a global terrain data network. Tokens would be for participation and using tools, not for cashing out.

We’ve kept it simple on purpose: no taxes, no reflections, no staking games, no promise of profit. TRN is for fun and for future utility inside the Terrain ecosystem, nothing more.
