From a dev POV, Gala’s expanding way beyond its original scope. GalaSwap testnet shows they’re building foundational tools on GalaChain. This isn’t just a fun side feature—it’s a move toward infrastructure control. The DEX works. Test tokens are easy to claim, no hiccups on swaps, and the UI isn’t overwhelming. For something on testnet, it’s oddly stable.
