Flare has launched FAssets v1.1 on Songbird, a major update that enhances how XRP can be used in decentralized finance through FXRP. This version introduces unlimited minting capacity, reduced collateral requirements for agents, and improved mechanisms for managing system liquidity.
A central component of the upgrade is the Core Vault, which enables agents to recycle collateral and scale minting operations more efficiently. The system also introduces new security layers, including escrowed funds, multi-signature authorization, and a daily release mechanism.
Minting is now live on Songbird through supported portals, with the mainnet launch on Flare expected to follow. Once deployed on Flare, FXRP is positioned to become a core building block within the network’s growing DeFi infrastructure.
Airdrop
A retroactive airdrop of $135,000 in rFLR will be distributed on May 28 to the 10,000 most active users on the Coston test network. Eligibility is based on FAssets activity, capped holdings at snapshot, and past staking or delegation on Flare or Songbird.
