Do You DCA Back In After Taking Profits?

A while back, i decided to take a position in $GOAT because the chart structure and onchain activity looked really interesting. The liquidity was flowing in, and i noticed some decent wallet activity that gave me confidence to enter. Managed to catch a good move and locked in some profits, not a huge win, but enough to feel like the strategy worked out. Taking profits in this space is always a good feeling because, as we know, meme coins can reverse just as fast as they pump.

Recently, I have been thinking about getting back into the position, but this time i want to do it differently. Instead of going all in at once, i am planning to DCA (dollar cost average) gradually. The reason for this approach is simple, there is a lot of talk about a possible strong catalyst coming soon. It is nothing official, just community rumors and some speculative chatter, but if it plays out, it could push the price significantly higher. Still, i’m trying to stay disciplined and avoid falling into the FOMO trap, which is something that burns a lot of traders in these situations.

For research, I usually keep an eye on Bitget Onchain tools to monitor what is happening behind the scenes. Meme coins move insanely fast when big players start loading up, so understanding onchain signals is a huge advantage before making any decision.
