Developer charging $5k / $10k (lifetime) for a personal copy-trading bot — need advice before I pay

So I got a developer to build me a copy-trading bot for my personal use.
Before we started, he gave me two lifetime price options — $5,000 and $10,000 (the $10k one includes 2 years of maintenance).

I agreed at the time because I really needed a fast bot.

Now the bot is finished and honestly it’s amazing — super fast (around 0.45–0.6s most of the time). I’m happy with the performance and his skills.

But after everything is done, I’m confused about the pricing.
For a personal-use bot, are amounts like $5k or $10k (lifetime) actually normal?
Or is this pretty high?

And specifically — is the $10k plan worth it or not?

Would love to hear from people who have worked with devs or bought custom trading bots before.
