Crypto on crypto violence (Circle vs $CRCL)

Today was an historic day for crypto with the passage of the Genius Act, which regulates stablecoins. The way we make payments is going to change forever and is a huge step forward, similar to the leap forward when credit cards replaced cash and checks.

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the passage of the act is Circle Internet Group, whose stock rose 18% to close at a $49.8 BILLION market cap today. While watching the videos of Trump and Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Circle Internet Group, shaking hands and congratulating each other, I just had to scratch my head asking “Why is a $50 BILLION market cap company filing allegations of “brand infringement” against a then $500 THOUSAND market cap MEMECOIN project (we’re at ~$1.2 million market cap today – Circle is 41,600x times the size of $CRCL today!). Why are they inciting crypto on crypto violence? It seems like Jeremy and his corporate goons are just legacy TradFi bros in sheep’s clothing.

This isn’t just about our $CRCL memecoin project – this is about corporate America, whether a retail company, oil/gas company, or a leading publicly traded crypto company, trying to keep the “little guys” down and perpetuate the status quo of corporate slavery. As Unipcs/Bonkguy tweeted, “is u/circle really targeting a BonkFun-launched shitcoin called ‘Just a Circle’ because it used a $CRCL ticker?…they’re the underdog being unfairly targeted by a 600-pound gorilla, in what should not be encouraged in crypto.”
