For those of you that don’t know buckazoid ($bz) is more than a meme coin—it’s a resurrected cultural artifact from Space Quest IV (1991). One of the first fictional in-game currencies, it helped shape the mental models of early Bitcoin and Ethereum pioneers And how is that we know? Well the proof is in the pudding and our dev who is an investigative journalist and documentary film maker has taken the time to track down proof that space quest inspired inviduals who would later become early BTC pioneers. Most recently we interviewed Mark Hopkins aka Dr. Bitcoin an early OTC Bitcoin seller from the wild west/early crypto days. His company was named Roger Wilco who also happens to be the main protagonist of Space quest. We have a website www.buckazoidlore.com that does a nice short summary for newcomers but we have more in depth information along with 3 amazing spaces in podcast format at our official x: https://x.com/BuckazoidFan?t=QgAN6z87Yu7pYqWrY9R3Pw&s=09 More content to come in the future but for now check out the official x and see how we are putting value on the real life relationship between space quest/Sierra games and BTC earliest pioneers and contributors Below is a nice recap of proof from early Bitcoin forums of people inspired by Sierra games https://x.com/financierfrank/status/1922335037250535774?t=3aFSP9LVx96Q8fsWFJUuRg&s=19 Ca: HCMa54YQ4YKAhHrZ9ngo3SUkAs2uSLKbo4gf82pSpump https://dexscreener.com/solana/dayppq9buwsmy8lej5ywhypwcnjl6pojuckgecxj1wdo submitted by /u/kronktastic |
