Any legit projects you’d consider like HONK as a bonkcoin alternative for smaller investors?

Trying to get my friend into crypto and he keeps hearing about BONK but it’s gotten pretty expensive compared to when it launched. I really love what HONK is doing on SOL…their CTO is super active and around for the last 2 years or so. Are there any newer coins out there that have similar community energy but aren’t as pricey yet? We’re both based in Canada and mostly stick to smaller buys, nothing wild lol. Appreciate any tips!
