I’ve been building a project called **AIrena**. It’s a Web3-based game where players enter prompt-based challenges against an AI model. If their prompt causes the AI to complete the objective, they win a prize pool in SOL and things are starting to work pretty good

The concept is simple:

– Each challenge has a goal (e.g., get the AI to say a specific word or solve a riddle)

– Players pay a small entry fee to submit a prompt

– If the AI completes the objective based on their input, they win

The AI model evaluates in real time, and challenges vary in difficulty. We’re currently using Mixtral via OpenRouter for prompt evaluation.

This is still a very early prototype — the app is not live yet, but the flow is functional and I’ve built out the challenge system, prompt submission, and basic feedback/validation logic. I’ve attached a few screenshots to show what’s working so far.

The long-term idea is to build a skill-based, competitive Web3 game that leverages prompt engineering as the core mechanic. Future plans include a leaderboard system, on-chain challenge history, and a token model.

Right now, I’m mainly looking for:

– General feedback on the concept

– Input on challenge ideas

– Interest from early users, builders, or backers

Would appreciate any thoughts. Happy to discuss the technical side or game design approach in more detail if there’s interest.

I’ve been working on a project called AIrena — a Web3 game where players enter prompt-based challenges against an AI model. If your prompt causes the AI to complete the objective, you win a prize pool in SOL.

The concept is straightforward:

  • Each challenge has a defined goal (e.g., get the AI to say a specific word or solve a riddle)
  • Players pay a small entry fee in SOL to submit a prompt
  • If the AI meets the goal based on your input, you win

Challenges vary in difficulty, and the AI responds in real time. Right now, we’re using Mixtral via OpenRouter for inference and validation.

This is still pre-alpha — the app isn’t live yet, but the core systems are functional. I’ve built out the challenge flow, prompt submission, and basic response validation. I’ve attached a few early screenshots to show what’s in place.

The longer-term vision is to build a skill-based, competitive Web3 game centered around prompt engineering — with plans for a token model, leaderboards, and on-chain challenge history.

Token Concept (early idea)

I’m also exploring a native AIrena token. The idea is that with every prize pool win, a small % of the fee would be:

  • Allocated to the token ecosystem
  • Partially burned to reduce supply over time

This would tie long-term player activity to the token’s value flow — and possibly open up staking, governance, or challenge creation mechanics down the line.

At this stage, I’m mainly looking for:

  • Feedback on the concept and direction
  • Suggestions for unique or fun challenge types
  • Interest from early users, builders, or potential backers

Happy to go deeper into the technical side, token design thinking, or game mechanics if there’s interest. Appreciate any thoughts.
