Many of you have probably heard of the trading bot on Solana, Banana Gun.
I’m still playing around with it, gathering information, and something interesting I found is that Banana Gun redistributes a portion of its trading revenue to $BANANA holders instead of using a traditional staking or inflation model.
40% of the fees collected by the bot are used to buy back BANANA from the market and distribute earnings to holders.
On one hand, it’s actual revenue sharing, not just a token emission system.
On the other, the sustainability depends on trading volume and how many users keep using the bot.
I know other projects have tried revenue-sharing models before, but this one seems different because it’s directly tied to trading activity rather than speculative staking rewards. What do you guys think?
