Why do I dca out of big positions in meme coins

I’m pretty new to meme coins and crypto about 6 months in and I see people on Twitter making 100k of 1k and Twitter influencers mocking that they full clipped it and missed out on gains does this mean if u have a 100k position and sell it all at once u get like 80k if someone could explain the benefits of dca out I would very much appreciate it
