Do the pros actually make a lot of money? Their behavior is confusing

Theres a few pros I watch their lives and they accept gifts from followers. They literally talk like “i only made a few hundred” like $100=$1 for them. Yet someone send small gifts on tiktoks and they act super grateful like they have no money. Also Orangie has a group that charges. At least that is a higher charge so maybe its worth it to him??? But still how does this make sense for them? Why are they concerned with such small amounts of money

I thought courses were something people sold when they weren’t making a lot of money

Im not trying to be rude or discredit them. Im truly wondering. I just truly dont understand how they can make $30k on screen and still accept people small gifts form people possibly with all the money they have. Is it just greed? Are they maybe not making as much as claim?
