early a16z backed depin network earn, actual product in beta not vaporware

Disclaimer this is not financial advice do your own research and never invest more than you are willing to lose I just found something early that actually seems to have real substance which is rare in crypto these days. The project is called Rumi and they just raised a huge round from a16z crypto and EV3 which immediately got my attention because a16z does not usually back random vaporware so there has to be something there.

What really caught my eye is that this is a DePIN network where you earn just for watching Netflix. At first it sounds too good to be true but it is actually a working product in beta not just a whitepaper. That alone is already unusual because most DePIN stuff I have seen is still just vaporware and promises.

I think there are a few reasons why this could actually moon. First the product exists and is functional. Second smart money is backing it which is always a good signal in crypto. Third the market is huge because almost everyone watches Netflix or other streaming services. Most people spend three to five hours a day watching shows and movies so even if only a tiny fraction adopt the platform it could be a massive network.

Another reason I am interested is that the tokens seem to have real utility. They are not just for speculation but actually have a use case within the platform which is rare. On top of that Rumi already has partnerships with Virtuals. ioand Story Protocol which shows that they are thinking about real integration and growth.

Of course there are risks. It is very early stage so it could fail, there is no trading yet, the earnings might be too low to actually drive adoption and the space is extremely competitive. That said positioning before a token launch could be interesting if this gets traction because you are getting in on something before it is widely noticed.

I am just sharing this because it is the first DePIN project I have seen that has a working product, tier one backing and real potential. Most of the other DePIN projects are still only ideas. Again do your own research but I thought it was worth looking at.
