Just tested a new open-source Pump.fun scanner – actually saved me from a rug and made 3.7 SOL

I usually don’t post about tools, but this one legit caught me off guard (in a good way).

Was browsing GitHub late last night and found grockpay-scanner-pro – a free, open-source scanner for Pump.fun launches. I’ve been burned too many times by “safe” tokens dumping in 30 seconds, so I gave it a shot.

What it does (no hype): – Real-time alerts via WebSockets (<300 ms latency) – AI flags potential rugs (claimed 98% accuracy – it blocked 2 for me) – Exports data to CSV/JSON, works with Base/Blast too – Optional premium unlock with a small SOL donation (on-chain, no middleman)

Setup took ~5 mins: git clone, pip install, run. Hooked it to Discord for push alerts.

Result: Caught a launch early, AI gave it a 2/10 rug risk. Bought 0.5 SOL worth, sold at ~4.2 SOL total after the pump. Another alert stopped me from aping into a clear dev-dump setup.

Not saying it’s magic, but it’s the first free tool that actually predicted a rug before DexScreener even listed it.
