• To make things more complicated, X has even filed a lawsuit alleging that a Vietnamese click farm network used bots and inauthentic accounts to extract payouts via false engagements.
• Historically, X has also stated that posts flagged by Community Notes (their crowd-sourced fact-checking tool) would become ineligible for revenue share. In effect, content corrected by Community Notes could lose monetization.

• Income uncertainty: Many creators depend on these payouts for bills, rent, or operational costs. A sudden freeze or pause can be catastrophic.
