Its a strategy or just luck?

So I’ve been messing around with Solana gems on BitGet OnChain for the past 3 months, and honestly, I think I accidentally stumbled onto something that actually works for me.

I was scrolling through the platform one day and noticed they had this Trading Competition 63 running with certain tokens featured. Instead of hunting for random gems like I usually do, I thought – why not just trade the tokens that are already getting attention from this competition? These tokens had eyes on them, people were already talking about them, and there was actual volume. That’s when I decided to jump in.

It felt like I’d found a cheat code or something. I wasn’t trying to discover the next big thing before everyone else. I was just riding the wave that was already forming.

The thing that changed everything for me? I stopped being greedy. Every time a token would pump even 5-10%, I’d take my profit and exit. No “let me wait for it to 2x” nonsense. Just in and out. Don’t get me wrong – there were a few cases where I caught quick gains up to 100%, but I still exited fast instead of waiting for more. Those small and occasional bigger wins started adding up way faster than my previous strategy of holding and hoping.

I also learned the hard way not to go all-in on one token, even if it’s getting competition attention. Spread it across a few tokens from the list. Some move, some don’t, but overall I’ve stayed profitable.

One thing I really appreciated was how smooth the transactions were compared to the DEXs I’d been using before. Maybe 2x faster? When you’re trying to catch quick moves and exit fast, that speed actually makes a difference.

I’m not saying this is some revolutionary strategy or that I’m making life-changing money. But after months of getting rekt chasing random gems, this approach has kept me consistently green. It’s less stressful too because I’m not emotionally attached to any particular token.

I’ve been continuing this approach with the current Trading Competition 67 and it’s still working. Actually shared some of my recent gains to show it’s not just luck from a few months ago.
