Hot take: exchanges make trading look easy; your emotions make it expensive. For most beginners the smarter move isn’t to out-trade bots it’s to pick one meme with real identity and compounding culture and hold it. For me that’s $PINO. Why holding beats overtrading: • Fees & slippage eat small accounts. Holding cuts friction. • Timing risk: you need to be right twice (buy + sell). Holders only need the trend + time. • Taxable churn: constant trades = constant taxable events (depends on your laws). Holding reduces noise. • Bot/latency edge: exchanges are full of faster players. Culture is where humans win. • Asymmetric upside needs time: memes grow via network effects. Give the story room to spread. • Sanity & focus: hold, secure, and build the brand (memes, art, raids). That work can increase your bag’s value. Simple plan (what I do): 1. Make a thesis: I want exposure to a living meme with a face, lore, and relentless community → $PINO. 2. DCA, no leverage, only what I can hold through drawdowns. 3. Self-custody. 4. Contribute to the culture daily. 5. Let time cook. Not financial advice just what’s kept me from pressing red buttons. If you’re new: don’t try to be a day trader on day one. Hold Pino and build. submitted by /u/Adventurous_Ice708 |
