What if the next big meme coin was actually built for payments?

Everyone knows most meme coins don’t last long – they pump, they dump, and people move on. But what if one of them was different?

On Solana, there’s a project called Gangster Pepe Pay (GPEPAY) with a capped supply of 69M tokens that’s being developed not just as a meme, but also as a payment option for shops using QR codes.

It makes me wonder: could combining meme culture with real-world usage actually make people hold longer and trust the project more? Or will meme coins always be “just for fun”?
