Why BGB’s History Made Me Rethink My Altcoin Strategy

Memecoins have chewed through a big part of my portfolio over time, so I decided to take a step back and rethink where I put my money. Instead of chasing every new meme that pops up, I started shifting my focus toward altcoins that actually have some background activity going on behind them. I figured if a project has real work happening under the hood, it might give me a better chance of seeing steady growth rather than just sudden pumps and dumps.

I began this shift by looking into exchange tokens. My first stop was BGB, and I spent some time digging into its history. I wanted to see how it has moved over the years and how it stacks up against other exchange tokens I’ve tracked. Along the way, I noticed OKB making some interesting moves too, almost like it’s quietly trying to position itself closer to BNB’s level.

Altcoins in general have been showing small but steady movements lately, but for me, the story and performance of BGB stood out the most. There’s something about its past price history and the way it has handled market shifts that made me stop and think. I’m not saying I know for sure it’s the best choice or that my judgment is perfect. But looking at that history made me pause and dig a little deeper before jumping to my next move.
