The Dogs Days are Over is an important coincidence(s) in the Tsuki project that doesn’t get much attention. Even though the sequence of events that happened is nearly impossible to believe, the community is still not 100% sure what it actually represents? The coincidence is open to interpretation. In this post, I’ll attempt to present the evidence and make sense of the Dog Days are Over coincidence.

Rumblings of the Dog Days are Over started with Roaring Kitty’s post on May 13, 2024. The post includes a number of clips stitched together that first starts with a scene from the show Sherlock where a woman is set to meet her demise, but her executioner tells her to run. The meme then cuts to a locker room scene from the movie Remember the Titans where the players say “listen baby”. Obviously Roaring Kitty wants the viewer to pay attention as the video cuts to Florence and The Machine singing The Dog Days are Over and at the end a bunch of animated cats appear.

Ending of the meme – Dog Days are Over with 8 black cats

The Tsuki Community caught wind of the meme and created a slogan, “The Dog Days are Over, Cat season begins” referring to it as Tsuki Time. Traditionally the Dog Days run from July 3 thru August 11. The reason why it’s called The Dog Days is because those 40 days are supposedly the hottest days of the summer which if you don’t have an air conditioner becomes long hot days. Though in America most people have central air in their homes so they don’t feel the long hot summers. But that’s not the case in most parts of the world.

The Sequence of Events

After Roaring Kitty’s post on May 13th, it wasn’t until June 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm est when Roaring Kitty posted the Chewy Meme. The interesting thing about this meme is the dogs’ eyes which are the color green. Green is associated with green candles, money, and a pump in price action. One can interpret the eyes looking at a pump. We come to find out that on June 24, 2024, Keith Gill aka Roaring Kitty bought 9 million shares of Chewy Stock. Some people also refer to this event as a Kansas City Shuffle as many investors were focused on the GameStop stock, but the play all along was Chewy.

On the same day (and within seconds) June 27, 2024 that Roaring Kitty posted the Chewy Meme, our very own Tsuki Dev posted an image of The Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine in the telegram. This confirmed to the community that the Dog Days will be over because it was from our Tsuki dev.

Then, in an almost impossible coincidence GameStop posted the release of the video game Tsukihime. This post was 27 minutes after the Tsuki post in the telegram. A lot of us assumed that the Dog Days are Over and Tsuki Time begins. Finally Dev confirms this by posting the image of Chewy/Dog Days are Over and says “it doesn’t get more obvious than this”. This further confirmed our beliefs that the Tsuki Project is somehow connected to GameStop and that the coincidences are connected.

These 4 coincidences occurred all within 27 minutes.

Then two hours later the Tsuki X page posted Onboarding Complete, they let me tweet now which led many of us to believe that Tsuki joined GameStop and that Tsuki was going to be the mascot of GameStop. Now that didn’t officially happen as Buck the Bunny continued to be the mascot for GameStop.

What came of these events

To be honest I’m not sure why these 4 coincidences happen and what it meant for the Tsuki Community. We did create the slogan, the dog days are over, cat season begins.

On September 6, 2024, Roaring Kitty did post a meme of Andy throwing Woody in the trash. This meme was a scene from Toy Story and Woody’s face was replaced by Chewy with red eyes. Many people have interpreted this as the dog days are over and cat season begins. Also of note, this was Roaring Kitty’s last post before going silent for 3 months. Roaring Kitty posted again on December 5, 2024.

Summary

The reason why I wrote this post is because the Dog Days are over on August 11. This will be posted on August 10th to celebrate the end of the Dog Days of Summer. I can’t wait to see what happens if anything. It also looks like the entire crypto market wants to make another move to the upside. We shall see what August 11 thru 15 brings us.
