For the record, I’m SOL till I die, but that’s not gonna stop me using a portion to expand my horizons.
Been checking out the BTCFi space for the past month, and I’m loving the multi-yield layers combined with Bitcoin’ security.
I know Zeus Network are allowing SOL peeps to leverage BTC, but tbh, not sold on their solution at all. They are custodial, and no fucking way am I entrusting my SOL/BTC to a third party, ever!
Bitcoin intents is the only value-proposition that has a pathway for me to turn my SOL into BTC, and and then use a Bitcoin Gateway like BOB to stake it on Bitcoin (via Babylon) in 1 click, get liquidity staking tokens, then do some lending on Euler or Segment for easy yield.
But the prob is, there is a ton of new Bitcoin L2s/sidechain, and also purport to be the go-to place for DeFi on Bitcoin. RSK are a bunch of academics who have had years to achieve nothing, and Stacks are led by a conman (Muneeb, never forgot Blockstacks).
At the moment, I’m using BOB as they are the only ones allowing for native Bitcoin staking, but open to other suggestions.
