How do you filter new projects on Solana?

Been trying for a while to come up with a clear system for new launches (especially from pump.fun and Meteora), but honestly, most of my decisions still come down to gut feeling. I look at supply, how much is in the LP, whether the dev wallet is locked… but even when things look clean on Solscan, I still end up exiting at -40% way too often.

Sometimes I use BananaGun Pro too – not necessarily for auto sniping, but more like an alert when something starts moving. But even then, if you don’t know what you’re looking for, it’s easy to ape into garbage.

Does anyone here have an actual checklist for getting into new tokens on Solana? Or is it just controlled chaos, mixed with a bit of luck and occasional FOMO?
