I’ve built a trading bot bit it sucks

So, I’ve built a simple Python trading bot that follows successful target wallets and copies their transactions. The average delay between the target wallets and my transaction execution is one second, which sounds insignificant, but it makes a huge difference in profit/loss. A one-second delay means I take a position when the market cap is higher and exit when the price is lower. I haven’t started optimizing for speed, so if somebody could share some pointers, I’d appreciate it.
