I really like the shark cat

Hey all.

I usually just post on X (my username is deepfuckinocean) and my name is Roaring Shark Cat (RSC). I really enjoy long form writing though so Reddit feels like it could be a great second home.

I’ve been in Shark Cat on Solana since its first day of launching on PumpFun about 440 days ago and am one of the self proclaimed artists for the project. I stumbled upon shark cat on the day it launched. just scrolling through twitter and the trade actually has already made a meaningful impact on my life. The project initially caught A LOT of attention and went to about $400,000,000 in market cap in a little under a week last March. I vowed to never give up on the shark cat after that occurred and have (along with the community) kept the project active, re-accumulated my position and kept the meme machine printing for over a year despite a 99% downtrend :O – its become a real passion of mine. As this point it’s just what makes me happy prrrr.

I think the community has created over 2500 different works of art or just standard funny cute memes of the shark cat (it’s all on the telegram). I’m talking about it here because I feel excited to talk to more people about it. The meme is just so versatile and I truly feel it could be something special in the future or I wouldn’t have dedicated so much of my own time to this being a dad/husband and all.

I hope you’ll enjoy it and if the post somehow ends up doing well by some random miracle I’ll continue to share my thoughts on the shark cat.
