Valerie, an 8-pound miniature dachshund, went full Bear Grylls after escaping a camping trip and surviving alone on an Australian island for 529 days — eating roadkill and dodging venomous snakes like it was no big deal.

Rescuers tried everything: food, clothes, even her old toys, but Valerie said “no thanks” and kept living her best feral life.

After over a year of playing hide-and-seek better than Bigfoot, she finally walked into a trap for some snacks and gave the trail cam a cheeky wink like a true icon.

Now she’s headed back to her humans to trade roadkill for belly rubs and reclaim her throne as the spoiled princess she was born to be.
